E-Bike Service FAQ’s

Do you service electric bikes?

Yes, we service e-bikes from brands we sell and trust, including Trek, Electra, Gazelle, and Troxus, along with reliable systems like Bosch, Shimano, TQ, Bafang, Hyena, and select direct-to-consumer brands such as Rad Power and Aventon. However, we only accept work we can stand behind. If a bike is unsafe, irreparable, or unsupported by the manufacturer, we may decline the job.

Why would you decline service?

We’re committed to safe, reliable repairs. No shortcuts, no compromises. We may decline service if: The bike has structural or electrical damage. We can’t safely test the system after repair. The parts required are unavailable or proprietary. The bike is built in a way that makes safe service unrealistic or risky.

We know it’s frustrating to be turned away, but in those cases, we’ll do our best to refer you to a specialist who is better equipped to help.

Can I sign a waiver so you’ll work on my e-bike?

No. Waivers don’t remove the safety risk (Or the liability) of working on a bike we can’t safely repair or test. If we can’t do the job right, we can’t do it at all.

What if I bought my e-bike online?

Some online brands are serviceable. Others aren’t. If your bike has a well-supported drive system and available parts, we may be able to help. Feel free to call or email us with your brand, model, and issue, and we’ll let you know if it’s something we can take on.
